DO NOT CAST ME FROM YOUR PRESENCE, LORD

PSALMS 51:1-12
1 Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions.
2 Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin.
3 For I know my transgressions, and my sin is always before me.
4 Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight, so that you are proved right when you speak and justified when you judge.
5 Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me.
6 Surely you desire truth in the inner parts; you teach me wisdom in the inmost place.
7Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.
8 Let me hear joy and gladness; let the bones you have crushed rejoice.
9 Hide your face from my sins and blot out all my iniquity.
10 Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
11 Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me.

12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.

Joel John Candelaria’s Particular post:

Mar18
Day 15. This is my happiest day since I began the challenge, and I'm pretty sure this will be one of my happiest days ever. Words are not enough to express how I truly feel. I'm still ecstatic up until this minute. To be invited as a guest speaker of my alma mater's commencement exercises is way too overwhelming for me. I distinctly remember the smiles on students' and parents' faces as I shook their hands and gave them their medals and diplomas. This is indeed a once in a lifetime opportunity and I'm thanking Dir. Robert G. Uy and Mrs. Leonisa Uy for giving it to me. Thanks for the warm welcome and for making me feel so special. I am a proud product of PBTS Academy. I'm so happy to be a part of PBTS again, after 8 years.

December 2014

@ our home @ Cupang, Antipolo City.

I have no fb.  Really.  A fact.  But one wonderful day, I decided to open my lil’ sis’ fb named cutie “Kesiah.”  While browsing for almost 30 minutes, I’ve seen some persons who devote their fb to share the Gospel of Christ; I was so really, really, really blessed :) I’ve seen also some persons who devote their fb to express their love & affection to their beloved, loveones & special someone; I was so really, really, really touched :) hahaha!

After a few days…

I decided again to open Kesiah’s fb, to take a glimpse to the fb of those people who blessed & touched my heart by their unselfish posts.  While continuing browsing, I was surprised by the post of this person (in full English!) I asked Kesiah, “Who’s that man?” & she said, “That’s my teacher!”

Me: oh really! Tell him if I can have his email.

So here it is…

Sir Joel, aha, I 1st saw your fb in March 2014.  Then after a months passed by, I was sooo busy that I have no time to open Kesiah’s fb, so I forgot your name :( then, when I returned to Cupang, when I decided to open fb again, there I remember you :)

Sir Joel, you did a great impact to my life.  Continue to inspire young people like me (wahahaha, asa ka pah rina, loka ka talaga, wahahahha!)

I dedicate this blog for you, yes, and ooppss…

More power to your profession as a teacher.

You were born for such a time as these (parang bday lang ih noh, hahaha).

Godbless you.  Zoom!!!

“New Year is God’s grace to us; giving us the opportunity to start anew and see clearly with our hearts HIS great will and love for us.  I pray that as we walk from hereon, let us always be reminded of our glorious purpose in life.  More happiness for us this 2015 as we continue in serving Jesus Christ.”
#You have captured our heart, Mi Corazon.

Love & Prayers,
-rina.

SIR JOEL JOHN DEGUIA CANDELARIA (SHEN JI LIANG)

Sometimes it really amazed me how facebook world gives an extraordinary excitement to everyone, because for me, facebook doesn’t really work as the source of fun.  Maybe the reason is that I’m not that pretty so there’s no excitement in posting my selfies (wahaha!) or maybe because I’m just a weird person; a very KJ person (nyahaha!) Or I think, the true reason is that I’m just irritated to the selfishness of majority, which their fb is all about themselves, not for the benefits of others.

Me: oh really! Tell him if I can have his email.

So here it is.

Wanna say an, “extra-large thank you” for being a blessing to fb world.  Honestly, inspiring sa’kin ‘yung mga person na nai-express ang ganda ng mundo at ang biyaya ng Diyos in full English.

AVODAH: VOCATION, CALLING, SERVICE

More than just means to make money, our jobs can be one vehicle for setting the world right.

Avodah connotes service. (It is also the word for slavery, which is involuntary service.) Work is not only a necessary part of life; it is a form of service to the world, to the rest of humanity, and to God. We are meant to be of service, to be partners with God in the ongoing creation of the world. Yet even as we serve God, we also serve our fellow human beings.

THANK YOU FOR NEVER LEAVING ME NO MATTER WHAT

Perhaps you’ve traveled down your own dusty road to Emmaus with circumstances leaving you confused, troubled, and depressed. Perhaps you been discouraged and wondered: Where in the world is Jesus anyway?

If so, remember this my friend, just because we cannot see Jesus or sense His
presence, does not mean that He is absent. Just because we can’t see Him
working does not mean that He isn’t.

He is walking the path with you…
and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age…Matthew 28:20

He is praying for you
Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them…Hebrews 7:25

He is working on your behalf
In his defense Jesus said to them, "My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I too am working… John 5:17

Jesus assures us with these words: “And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age” …Matthew 28:20

Let’s Pray:
Jesus, thank You for always being with me, for praying for me, and for working
on my behalf. Help me to not lose heart when times get tough and the road gets rough. Thank You for never leaving me…no matter what.  In Your Name I pray, Amen.

KAIBIGAN

Iba talaga yung nagagawa kapag kasama mo yung mga
kaibigan mo no? Nawawala yung stress, worries and pain sa
 buhay mo.

Kitain mo sila today. Kwentuhan kayo. Foodtrip. Coffee
bonding. Gala sa mall. Punta sa Church. Share your
problems at mga mabibigat na feelings mo. Gagaan yan.
Irelease mo lang yang 'pain', nandiyan naman sila para
makinig at bigyan ka ng advice.
