WE BELIEVE

By: Newsboys

Verse:
In this time of desperation
When all we know is doubt and fear
There is only One Foundation
We believe, We believe
In this broken generation
When all is dark, You help us see
There is only One Salvation
We believe, We believe

Chorus:
We believe in God the Father
We believe in Jesus Christ
We believe in the Holy Spirit
And He's given us new life
We believe in the crucifixion
We believe that He conquered death
We believe in the resurrection
And He's comin' back again, we believe

So, let our faith be more than anthems
Greater than the songs we sing
And in our weakness and temptations
We believe, We believe!

Let the lost be found and the dead be raised!
In the here and now, let love invade!
Let the church live loud, our God we'll say
We believe, We believe!
And the gates of hell will not prevail!
For the power of God Has torn the veil!
Now we know Your love will never fail!
We believe, WE BELIEVE!

WORSHIP HIS MAJESTY

Jack Hayford and his wife Anna were vacationing in Britain during the 25th Anniversary of the coronation of Elizabeth II. While there, the Hayfords saw constant reminders of royalty. That, along with visits to several castles, caused Hayford to sense what it might be like to be “raised as a child in such regal settings.” With this in mind, he asked Anna to write down these words one day as they drove through the countryside: “Majesty worship his majesty. Unto Jesus be all glory, power, and praise.” Thus “Majesty,” one of today’s most glorious praise songs, was born.

In Scripture, Jesus is called “High Priest”, “Prince of Peace,” “Lamb of God,” “Bread of Life,” “Light of the World,” “Good Shepherd.” But perhaps the most magnificent, awe-inspiring title is “King of Kings.” It reminds us that His power far surpasses that of any mortal ruler. It suggests to us that splendor of the ultimate kingdom in which He will reign forever. What’s most amazing is that we who know Christ as Saviour are children of the King.

How should we respond? Hayford’s song suggest that we are to “exalt, lift up on high the name of Jesus”each day, and in all we do “glorify Christ Jesus the King.” Our primary task in life is to worship His majesty.

Majesty
Majesty, worship His majesty
Unto Jesus be all glory, honor and praise
Majesty, kingdom authority
Flow from His throne unto His own
His anthem raise.

So exalt lift up on high the name of Jesus
Magnify, come glorify
Christ Jesus the King… - the King –

Majesty, worship His majesty
Jesus who died now glorified
King of all Kings.

STEVE GREEN BIOGRAPHY

STEVE GREEN BIOGRAPHY

August 14, 1983. Steve recounts his spiritual transformation:

“The Lord used my older brother, Randy to lovingly confront me. That August afternoon, he and his wife, our mother and my younger brother, David, rode together on the way to visit a hospitalized relative.

David was driving, Randy was in the front seat, and I was in the back. Randy was exorting us in the Lord, stressing the importance of submission and communion with the Lord throughout every moment of the day. I kept interrupting with wisecracks, and finally told him, ‘I don’t want to talk about this. Let’s talk about something else.’ When he didn’t, my irritation grew into anger, and I told him to be quiet.

My family was shocked, and tears came into Randy’s eyes as he turned and looked at me. ‘You’re not resisting me, Steve, you’re resisting the Holy Spirit,’ he said.

I felt exposed and humiliated in front of my family as a host of emotions surged through me. One was, ‘What’s going on here?’ Another was self-righteous. ‘God can look at me right now and see there’s nothing wrong with me.’ I said defensively. But along with the anger was a gnawing thought that maybe Randy was right.

As we rode along, that thought began to gain the upper hand, and I became more and more quiet. I felt like a kid caught with his hand in the cookie jar – only this time I’d been caught by God.

That night I got on my knees and confessed I really love Him. I began to confess my sins, things only he and I knew about. Finally I said, ‘Lord, whatever it takes to be fully Yours, please do it in my life.

No bells went off, no lightning bolts struck. But the next day, August 14, I woke up and knew God was changing my desires.”

At that time, Steve had wanted to be with the mainstream Professions. He dreamed of becoming a doctor or lawyer and enjoying what every American idealized as the “American Dream.” Of the five Green children, he was the only one who did not enroll in Bible College and enter Full-time Christian work. He wanted a taste of the good life and luxury that this professions had to give and offer. “I had no desire for the level of commitment that I saw in my parents. I had seen what God’s control on a life did in their case, and I didn’t want that. I was outwardly compliant, yet there was a subtle rebellion against God’s hand on me.” He recalled.

Steve’s spiritual remolding ushered in a fresh outlook on his life and career. He met with friends Bill and Gloria Gaither to share his newfound experience and life, telling them at one point that he altogether lost his desire to sing. It was Gloria who encouraged him to go on and continue his music ministry. “Now is when you are to sing… now you have something to sing about. God has gifted you – don’t throw it away. See if He will use it.” She countered.

With a new direction and renewed vigor to sing for the Lord, Steve’s music has since soared the heavenly airwaves. In 1983, he signed up with Sparrow records for his first solo album, STEVE GREEN. Released in 1984, it was so well received that his peers in the music ministry presented him with a Dove Award for being the best “Male Vocalist of the Year” in 1985. His second album, HE HOLDS THE KEYS was likewise nominated both for Grammy and Dove Awards. In early 1986, he teamed up with two other writers, Dwight Liles and Niles Borop, to write and record a musical for the Church called A MIGHTY FORTRESS. It was also toward the latter part of the year that his best-selling album for GOD AND GOD ALONE was released.

Steve had not forgotten his spiritual and musical roots after having spent almost 8 years in Argentina. In 1987, he took a trip to Venezuela, Ecuador and Argentina to proclaim the Good News through music. Steve has two Spanish albums: TIENEN QUE SABER, recorded in 1987, and TOMA LA CRUZ, recorded in 1990.

Steve always had a special place in his heart for children. Deeply inspired by his two children, he recorded and released a children’s album HIDE ‘EM IN YOUR HEART in 1990. This album received a DOVE for children’s Music Album of the year.

At present, Steve has just come out with his tenth album entitled, WE BELIEVE.

PEOPLE NEED THE LORD
By Steve Green

Everyday they pass me by,
I can see it in their eyes.
Empty people filled with care,
Headed who knows where?

On they go through private pain,
Living fear to fear.
Laughter hides their silent cries,
Only Jesus hears.

People need the Lord, people need the Lord.
At the end of broken dreams, He's the open door.
People need the Lord, people need the Lord.
When will we realize, people need the Lord?

We are called to take His light
To a world where wrong seems right.
What could be too great a cost
For sharing Life with one who's lost?

Through His love our hearts can feel
All the grief they bear.
They must hear the Words of Life
Only we can share.

People need the Lord, people need the Lord
At the end of broken dreams, He's the open door.
People need the Lord, people need the Lord.
When will we realize that we must give our lives,
For peo-ple need the Lord.

People need the Lord.

THE MISSION
By Steve Green

There’s a call going out
Across the land in every nation
A call to those who swear allegiance to the cross of Christ
A call to true humility, to live our lives responsibly
To deepen our devotion to the cross at any price

Let us then be sober, moving only in the Spirit
As aliens and strangers in a hostile foreign land
The message we’re proclaiming is repentance and forgiveness
The offer of salvation to a dying race of man

Chorus:
To love the Lord our God
Is the heartbeat of our mission
The spring from which our service overflows
Across the street
Or around the world
The mission’s still the same
Proclaim and live the Truth
In Jesus’ name

As a candle is consumed by the passion of the flame
Spilling light unsparingly throughout a darkened room
Let us burn to know Him deeper
Then our service flaming bright
Will radiate his passions
And blaze with holy light

GOD AND GOD ALONE
By Steve Green

God and God alone created all these things we call our own
From the mighty to the small the Glory in them all is God's and God's alone

God and God alone is fit to take the universe's throne
Let everything that lives reserve it's truest praise for God and God alone

God and God alone reveals the truth of all we call unknown
image: http://static.urx.io/units/web/urx-unit-loader.gif

And the best and worst of man wont change the Master's plan it's God's and God's alone

God and God alone will be the joy of our eternal home
He will be our one desire Our hearts will never tire of God's and God's alone

HBD ATE BESTIE!

Masayahin. Makulit. Palatawa, taklesa. Palakaibigan.
(Puro kaibigan words noh? :D

Nakilala ko siya taong 2013. Nalimutan ko na kung anong exact month. (sana naalala pa niya, ehehe.) I think month of July or so on.

Hanggang 1 day, we plan to meet (parang eyeball, dating magka-txtmate lang, hahahaha!)

Super excited ko that time. Feeling ko kasi I will meet the award-winning Miss Universe, the most beautiful and lovely, gorgeous and sexiest woman on earth.

At na-meet ko siya. Without her knowing, ansaya-saya ko talaga that time, kasi hindi lang mala-Miss Universe ang dating niya kundi higit pa doon ang nakita ko. Isa siyang tunay na babae ng Diyos. Nagliliwanag ang mukha. For me, she is an end-time Hannah who is willing to sacrifice everything she has for the kingdom of God’s sake.

(Parang maalaala mo kaya… Dear Tita Charo) Our friendship is one of a kind.

Guess who?

Gusto ko yung ano, yung… joke lang :D Ate, corny man kasi parehas tayong girl eh I LOVE YOU pa rin. Marami ko ng beses yan nasabi sa guy, mga nakalipas na pag-ibig, hahaha, pero minsan expression na lang yun para lang may masabi at magpa-impress, pero yung I LOVE YOU na nais kong ipadama sayo is not just an expression. It’s all natural, fresh, sweet, imported from London, made from the finest fruits! It’s nestea lemonade!

I mean, ate I LOVE YOU. It’s true, I mean it, from the bottom of my heart. Magsipag- fulltime man ang lahat ng anak mo, at isama na natin ang husband mo (yes prophecy) at ang nanay mo na rin (para family salvation package deal), andito lang ako para gumawa ng blog to encourage you na that’s normal lalo na sa isang ina na gaya mo na talaga namang all out sold out sa Lord. Di man na ko fulltime, alam na alam ko na there is no higher calling and no greater honor than to serve God fulltime in the ministry. Pag nagkaanak ako, I will push her too na gawin ang ginawa ko at siya namang ginawa ng anak mong si Joshua ngayon : )

I love you ate Mins. BFF ah. BestFriends Forever! Hapibday poh: )

FI-BDAY FITZ!:)

Ang buhay talaga ay puno ng kulay.

Oo o hindi?

Oo :D

Bakit?

#makulaynabuhaypamore:)

At siyempre…

Amen.”

HAPPY BIRTHDAY FITZ.
Thank you so much…
God bless you.

IF YOU WANT TO BE SUCCESSFUL, YOU HAVE TO CHOOSE HAPPINESS

Posted by Fitz Villafuerte under Mindsetting, Productivity on April 27, 2015

Did you know that there is a link between success and happiness?

Of course, it is common sense to believe that successful people often lead happy lives.
However, there is evidence that show the reverse is also true – that people who are happy, are more likely to succeed in life.

In 2005, a team from the University of California Riverside, led by psychologist Professor Sonja Lyubomirsky, found out through experimental studies that happiness can, in fact, lead to success.
In their experiment, they induced participants with positive and negative moods and compared their behavior in various situations. And what they found out were these:

1.    Happy people are not afraid to talk to other people and actually enjoy social interactions. This helps them expand their network easily and potentially connect to someone who can bring them career and business opportunities.

2.    People in a good mood can resolve conflicts effectively. They are more open to new ideas, and would most likely be willing to collaborate rather than destructively compete.

3.    When you feel good, you tend to be more creative and productive. You can perform complex tasks better, which certainly helps in finding solutions to the various problems we encounter in life.

4.    Happy people have improved self-efficacy. This means they are more confident about their skills and abilities and are not easily discouraged by minor setbacks.
The study has a lot of other interesting findings about the connection of success and happiness. But the list above should be enough to convince you that if you want to increase your chances of being successful in life, then you have to choose to be a positive and happy person.
Choosing Happiness
When you’re faced with a mountain of debt, working in a stressful job that you hate, and barely making ends meet – how can you be happy?
Actually, you can – by choosing to be happy.
According to Professor Lyubomirsky, roughly 40 percent of our happiness is within our control. And several other research in the field of positive psychology has a similar conclusion: happiness is a choice that anyone can make.

As psychologist William James once said:
The greatest discovery of any generation is that a human can alter his life by altering his attitude.
But how exactly do you choose to be happy?
Here are seven scientifically proven ways:
1. Listen to music.
Listen to upbeat music, especially those with happy and inspirational lyrics. Your mood will slowly elevate.
2. Interact more with positive people.
Have a few minutes of conversation with someone cheerful and happy. You will feel lighter and less stressed.
3. Linger on simple pleasures.
Focus on the positive moments that you experience everyday such as that fresh breeze you felt, that satisfying meal you ate, or that thoughtful message you received from a friend.
4. Learn how to meditate.
University of Wisconsin psychology professor Richard Davidson found in his research that meditation helps in shifting brain activity towards feelings of happiness and joy.
5. Find a reason to smile.
Look at a picture of your loved ones. Listen to a funny joke. Watch a feel-good movie. There are a lot of ways to make yourself smile, and laugh. Do it often.
6. Have a gratitude journal.
Wright State University School of Medicine professor and psychiatrist Randy Sansone found in a study that cultivating thankfulness can increase the well-being of a person.
7. Help others.
There are lots of scientific research that support this. One of them is by University of Rochester psychologist Richard Ryan who says that compassion for others produces a positive emotional effect to the giver.
Be Happy. Be Successful.
A lot of people delay their happiness until they are successful.
They wait until they are able to achieve their goals before they allow themselves to feel good about life.

They focus on success so much that they permit stress and anxiety to run their lives.

But as written above, you can choose to be happy today regardless of your circumstance – and by doing so, success becomes more possible for you.

So always remember to work hard for your dreams, but don’t ever forget to smile.
