ADULTING

One of the things I learned in adulting is that we should become more careful to who we share our stories because not everyone really cares about us. We choose these people because we know that they’re the ones who’ll protect us, whether we’re around or not. Because as we mature, we realize that when it comes to friendship, quality is more important than quantity; fewer but real ones are the best kind of friends.

ADDICTIVE PERSONALITY

As soon as someone makes a home in my mind, I have no way of kicking you out. It doesn’t matter if I discover you are interested in somebody else, or if you flat-out reject me to my face, because I will still want you. Nothing will turn me away from you. I get attached easily because I have an addictive personality.

A WORK OF ART

Each of us has its own portrait. We have a canvass where we can make our own art as we paint the real beauty of life. We put different colors as we try to blend it in order for us to make a unique piece of craft. I consider that as a definition of life. We are the painter of our own portrait, we can create a meaningful peace of our life.

No wonder, we have our own dark moments and there are two options of how to get over with it: to accept or reject that fate and find a spot where a new hope arise. Life will make wonderful moments when you look for an inspiration which will be your source of strength, yet sometimes fate is cruel that you need to suffer and face the consequences with the decisions you made.

But life is equal to love. For love conquers all – no time, no space, not even the distance can’t hinder because love is the perfect color of life.

You may lost that your nowhere to go, but have a determination to find that missing spot in you. Chase that love as you chase the missing colors of your art. When you find it, grab it tight and don’t waste your time.

I do believe that we can make a unique piece of an art with the right mixture of hope and love, our piece will be displayed on the gallery of life.

A REMINDER TO EVERY BEAUTIFUL SOUL

It’s okay to be afraid. It’s okay to be sad. It’s okay to feel lost. It’s okay to have a break down. I’m not going to say it’ll be beautiful because I don’t believe in romanticizing these kind of stuff but I just wanted to say that you’re doing amazing. You’re so strong for getting out of your bed today. For waking up, for taking a deep breath. It’s all step by step and I’m so proud of you and utterly in love with every one of you for staying so strong. I know it might be meaningless coming from a stranger online but feeling your feelings, it brings me to tears because you’re all so beautiful inside and out and you guys aren’t always that happy. You guys deserve the world and everything beyond. Congratulations, keep going fighters and I love you, you beautiful beings..

A LETTER FROM A HUSBAND

My Darling,

Two nights ago, we had a huge argument. I was exhausted when I got home from work. It was 8:00 pm and all I wanted to do was to lie down and watch the game.

You weren’t in a good mood, and you were clearly tired after having a long day. You were trying to put the baby to sleep as to other kids were fighting, and all I did was turn the volume up. “Would it kill you to play a more active role in your children’s upbringing?” you asked, turning the television volume back down. “You can help out more around the house, too.” “Hey” I said defensively. “I work hard all day just so you could play in the doll’s house all day.”

The argument just kept going like that. I said terrible things to you that I can never take back, and you screamed, saying that you were sick of it all. So you tearfully ran out of the house, leaving me to take care of the children on my own.

I was forced to feed the kids and put them to bed all by myself. When you didn’t come back the next day, I was forced to ask my boss if I could take a day off so i could take care of the children. I experienced the crying and the tantrums. I experienced having to run around so much all day that I didn’t even have a chance to shower.

I experienced being forced to heat the milk, getting the kids dressed, and cleaning the kitchen all at once. I experienced being cooped up all day without speaking to an adult. I experienced the inability to sit calmly at the table to have a relaxed meal whenever I wanted, because I had to run after the kids.

I experienced feeling so physically and emotionally drained that I just wanted to sleep for 20 hours straight, but had to get up a few hours after falling asleep because the baby was crying. I lived two days and two nights the way that you do, and I think I get it now.

I get your exhaustion. I get that being a mother is all about sacrifice. I get that it is more tiring than being among corporate bigwigs for 10 hours and making economic decisions. I get how frustrated you must be to have to sacrifice your job and financial freedom so that you can provide for your children. I get how uncertain you are about the fact that your economic security now depends on your partner and not just you. I get how hard it is not be able to hang out with your friends, exercise, or get a good night’s sleep.

I get how challenging it is, being locked up and being forced to watch the children while imagining what you must be missing in the outside world. I also get that you become upset when my mother criticizes how you choose to raise our children, because nobody in the world knows what is best for children like their own mother.

I get that being a mother means carrying society’s greatest burdens. Being the person that nobody appreciates values or remembers. I write you this letter not just to tell you that you are missed, but additionally because I don’t want to go another day without telling you: “You are strong, doing an excellent job, and I admire you.”

Anything that is right is possible. That which is necessary will inevitably take place. If something is right it is your duty to do it, though the whole world thinks it to be wrong. “God and one are always a majority,” or in plain words, that omnipotent interior law which is God, and the organism that represents you is able to conquer the whole world if your cause is absolutely just.

Say this prayer:
Let the troubles and responsibilities of life come thick and fast. I am ready for them. My soul is unconquerable. I represent the Infinite Law of Force, or of all power. This God within is my all sufficient strength and ever present help in time of trouble. The more difficulties, the greater its triumphs through me. The harder my trials, the faster I go in the development of my inherent strength. Let all else fail me. This interior reliance is all sufficient. The right must prevail. I demand wisdom and power to know and follow the right. My higher self is all wise. I now draw nearer to it. Amen.
