DEAR JOEL JOHN

DEAR JOEL JOHN

What is a birthday?
It is the day on which a child was born
The day which becomes his anniversary as he grows older
The day to which he shall always refer to
As the day of his transition
From the little world where he was conceived
Into the larger world, where he was born
And will live out the remnant of his days

What is a birthday?
It is that day where such things as ideas, organizations
And all other such things
Having been conceived by the mind
Become a reality with the eyes
And begin to serve the purpose
For which they were created
And are therefore celebrated, annually

What then is a birthday?
It is a day of celebration by the celebrant
For having been born in the first place
A day of reflection, on the journey so far
And what he’s been able to achieve with his life
And also a day of Meditation, on what still lies ahead
And how much more needs to be done and improved upon

DEAR JOEL JOHN
As you celebrate your day
Remember, that impact is not in the number of birthdays
But in the quality of life that was lived
That big celebrations, always consist of little celebrations
For little things achieved each day.
So make each day count and the years will be worth celebrating
Happy birthday DEAR JOEL JOHN :)
