RELATIONSHIPS ARE NOT TRANSACTIONAL

You can't make people change, understand you, apologize to you, or give you closure. You can't "love someone enough" in hopes that they'll love you back. And you can't bend over backward for someone in the hopes that they'll do the same because, honestly, there's a chance that they won't.

Relationships don't work that way. They are not ATM machines, giving you exactly what you put in. Sometimes we give to the wrong people or connect with someone who's energy doesn't match ours.

But that doesn't mean you give up. 

Keep being yourself, keep loving, and the right people will come to you. 💕

SOMEONE OUT THERE

 Someone, someday is going to look at you with awe, with reverence.

They aren’t going to focus on your past, speckled with scars.

They aren’t going to shy away because you’ve been hurt by someone before, those bruises still soft and tender under your skin.

They aren’t going to be hesitant because all they will notice is the smile on your face, the hope they read in your eyes.

They are going to love you, simply because you are worthy.

THE RIGHT ONE

Let the wrong kind of person show you all the ways that you deserve to be loved by the right one. Let the pain of the past be a lesson for what's to come. Wait for a love that feels exactly as you always thought it would. Wait for a love that feels something you haven't felt before. Wait for a love that is calm, a love that doesn't consume you, but encourages you to grow. Wait for a love that doesn't make you question yourself or your future. Wait for a love that holds your heart gently, because you deserve the softest kind of love.

FORGIVENESS

 Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.” - Luke 23:34

He was mocked, cursed, and spit upon; their shouts against Him were almost deafening, with much tormention of slanderous false statements. Jesus, who is the Son of God, was hung between Heaven and Earth. An innocent, sinless, and perfect man whose only desire is to save the world was hung for two hours under the intense heat of the sun while being mocked and scourged by the Jews, including the Roman soldiers and even one of the criminals besides Him, up until His last breath."

WORD OF GOD

 There should be no other foundation for every family but the Word of God and walking in God's will so that no matter what happens, nothing can destroy it. Whether heavy rain, wind, a storm, or an earthquake come, it will remain stable.

SIN

 Sin is the only reason why God cannot move in one’s life. Sin is the only thing that will hinder you from walking in the perfect will of God for your life. 

Turn away and renounce all wrong doings, corrupt works, flee from sin, worldliness, and the works of the flesh. Live holy, pure, and righteous life by living the life of Christ, and the key is to be with God always.
