"Jesus showed us what true love and forgiveness mean through His example.
He was brutally tormented and tortured without any sleep for days. He was mocked, cursed, and spit upon; their shouts against Him were almost deafening, with much tormention of slanderous false statements. Jesus, who is the Son of God, was hung between Heaven and Earth. An innocent, sinless, and perfect man whose only desire is to save the world was hung for two hours under the intense heat of the sun while being mocked and scourged by the Jews, including the Roman soldiers and even one of the criminals besides Him, up until His last breath."
