BY CANDY PANGILINAN

I was moved by Candy Pangilinan’s grounded wisdom when she said, “Do not compete, do not conform, do not compare. So your life will be satisfied and content.”

So much of our exhaustion comes from battles we were never meant to fight.

Racing against people who are not our rivals and adjusting ourselves to standards that are not ours.

Candy’s words remind us that contentment begins the moment we stop questioning our lane and start honoring our pace.

And when you stop competing, you free yourself from pressure.

When you stop comparing, you finally see the quiet beauty of the life you already have.

In the end, true satisfaction is not found in having more, doing more, or becoming more, but in embracing the life that is unfolding before you, one honest, unhurried day at a time.
