WORDS OF HOPE

“In his word I put my hope.” Psalm 130:5

Like anyone else, I have days when discouragement seems to get the better of me. At such times I try to remember that the Lord has provided me with a source of continuing inspiration and hope. To tap into that source I need simply to open the pages of my Bible, God’s letter of hope to me.

I’m reminded of a story about an elderly woman who had lost her husband, George, some years earlier in an automobile accident. Theirs had been a long and happy marriage, and she missed him terribly. When she suffered a broken leg, she felt more confined and alone than ever.
One particularly blue day, she found herself longing once again for her husband’s company. She sat in her living room and began to weep. “Dear God,” she prayed, “please give me the strength to get through this hour.”

Get your Bible, a quiet voice inside her said. But her Bible was in the
bedroom, and, with her leg in a cast, she thought it would be too hard to
retrieve. Then she remembered a small travel Bible on a nearby bookshelf. She reached for it and turned the pages to find a favorite Scripture.

Suddenly a letter fell into her lap. She carefully unfolded the yellowed
pages. It was a love letter from George. In it, he expressed his deep
affection for her. His words of comfort went straight to her lonely heart.

In the back pages of the Bible she found more notes from George. He had
written them in the hospital while awaiting an operation, apparently fearing
he would not return home. After he recovered, the notes were forgotten.

That woman spent the rest of the afternoon basking in the company of her
husband’s letters and in the certainty that the Lord cared for her.

When you’re feeling short on hope in your marriage, ask yourself if you’ve
spent enough time lately reading your “mail” from God. Jeremiah wrote, “When your words came, I ate them; they were my joy and my heart’s delight” (Jeremiah 15:16). As we go about our days, we can draw on the same delight… if we’ll just read the Bible for a few minutes and wait for His Word to meet our need.

God loves you with infinite compassion and tenderness. He knows just what you need and when you need it. In the pages of Scripture, you’ll find example after example of His wisdom, comfort, and love— all meant for you. It’s the kind of “mail” that will really make your day!

MY DAD & MOM 33RD YEAR WEDDING ANNIVERSARY

PRAYER:
Your Word tells us that when a man finds a wife that he has found a good thing. You also make it clear in Your Word how important and sacred marriage is in Your eyes.
Lord, we pray that You will bless this couple with the grace, forgiveness and love that is needed for a continued happy marriage.
We know it takes work, God, but we also know that if You're in the midst of the marriage that it will succeed. Let Your blessings be on this couple in Jesus name.
Amen.

BDAY BLOG

Hi :)
These past days of April 2015 I’ve been taking the bus going to somewhere (hihi.)
Pag lagi ka lang nasa sulok, you feel so isolated from society. Naroong higan ka ng katabi mo, at kung anu- anong mga arte which for a long time I have forgotten dahil matagal na akong hindi nagpa-public transport. Sabi ko, this is one of those thrills.
Kung wala yung tool na iyon, I could find another one.
Kaya kailangan, sabi ni Pablo, we should learn to be content in plenty and in want :)

THANK YOU FOR BRINGING LIFE TO MY LIFE :)

Friend:
This April 2015, I will celebrate my 30th birthday! Honestly, I didn't think I would live this long. Seriously! Where have the years gone? It seems every day of life has been jam-packed full of both wonderful and horrible things I wondered if I would survive, and yet here I am, going strong and wondering why there always seems to be some kind of helicopter still landing in my life.

I have discovered some wonderful advantages to growing older and have learned some valuable lessons along the way. Each chapter of life seems to grow more exciting, and I keep wondering when that "slow down" thing is going to kick in. I am no longer overly concerned with a lot of things that once kept me awake at night.

I can say with authority that you probably will live through that crisis you think will be the death of you. What defines you today may very well seem ridiculous in ten years or even ten days. Stupidity will give way to wisdom learned the hard way. I now give myself permission to do or not do things I once would have felt compelled to do simply because it was someone's ridiculous expectation … not God's plan. My friends have certainly changed over the years. I am no longer desperate to please the people who leer at me through the glass bowl in which I live. Nope! I truly strive to run the race of life for a friend of One.

Yes, there are moments when I have made a frenzied and desperate attempt to stay young. But then, why would I want to do that? There are many years of my life I really do not want to revisit, and there is so much of my life now that I love.

What about you? Are you living each day to the fullest? Jesus is all about living an abundant life in the here and now … whatever stage of life that might be for you. Jesus came so that we can live abundantly and eternally. Eternity began the moment you accepted Him as your Lord and Savior. Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away.

Let's Pray:
Father, I want to live life to the fullest. I want everything you have for me and don't want to miss a single blessing or trial that is for my good. Please help me keep my eyes on You and celebrate every day and all that it holds. I trust You, Lord, to work all things together for my good and Your glory. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Now It's Your Turn:
Today, make the decision to celebrate life and all God has for you. Listen, my friend, you were planned and wanted by God. God is crazy about you and wants an intimate relationship with you. I pray that you will see yourself in the eyes of God, a chosen child.

Thank you for bringing life to my life!

I WILL NOT BE MOVED
AND I'LL SAY OF THE LORD
CHORUS

MY STRENGTH

MY PORTION

MY VERY PRESENT HELP IN TIME OF NEED
VERSE 2
WHOM HAVE I IN HEAVEN BUT YOU

THERE'S NONE I DESIRE BESIDES YOU

I dearly love You, Lord Jesus.
You take my breath away
And I was carried away.

CORNELIO 32ND BIRTHDAY

CORNELIO…

People with this name have a deep inner desire to lead, organize, supervise, and to achieve status, power and wealth.

People with this name tend to initiate events, to be leaders rather than followers, with powerful personalities. They tend to be focused on specific goals, experience a wealth of creative new ideas, and have the ability to implement these ideas with efficiency and determination. They tend to be courageous and sometimes aggressive.

C- apacity Beyond Imagination
You are spirit children of the most creative being in the universe.  Isn’t it remarkable to think that your very spirits are fashioned by an endlessly creative and eternally compassionate God?  Your spirit body is a masterpiece, created with the beauty, function, and capacity beyond imagination.”
O- ne Clear Voice
Your One clear voice

R- ejoice
Your life is full of your great decisions to rejoice about.
N- Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence
Your persistence can make miracles start to happen.  And when you find that you have succeeded in accomplishing whatever it is you set out to accomplish; look back and recognize that this was the result of your persistence finally paying off.
E-njoying and Enduring
What an important reminder! It is so easy to get sucked into the business of life and the stresses that surround us to the point that we go into endurance mode and we genuinely forget that the purpose of life is to enjoy it! Thank you, Cornelio for showing me how to enjoy and endure life!
L-ife Goes on
Everytime I read your fb post, I always reminded by this word, “Life definitely goes on!”
I-nspiration
