I STILL BELIEVE IN THIS

Always see what is good.
Always see what can be good.

See the good potential in every person.

Give good. And you will receive more of that good.

The world will give you, what you give it.
I still believe in this.

Misunderstandings will be there.
Pre-conceived judgments too.

But these challenges and how you overcome, will define you as a person.

I SIT BY THE WINDOW

I said fate plays a game without a score,
And who needs fish if you’ve got caviar?
The triumph of the Gothic style would come to pass
And turn you on – no need for coke, or grass.
I sit by the window, outside, an aspen.
When I loved, I loved deeply.
It wasn’t often.

I said the forest’s only part of a tree.
Who needs the whole girl if you’ve got her knee?
Sick of the dust raised by the modern era,
The Russian eye would rest on and Estonian spire.
I sit by the window.
The dishes are done.
I was happy here. But I won’t be again.

I wrote: The bulb looks at the flower in fear,
And love, as an act, lacks a verb; the zer –
O Euclid thought the vanishing point became wasn’t math –
It was the nothingness of time.
I sit by the window.
And while I sit
My youth comes back.
Sometimes I’d smile. Or spit

I said that the leaf may destroy the bud;
What’s the fertile falls is fallow soil – a dud;
That on the flat field, the unshadowed plain
Nature spills the seeds of trees in vain.
I sit by the window.
Hands lock my knees.
My heavy shadow’s my squat company.

My song was out of tune
My voice was cracked,
But at least no chorus can ever sing it back.
That talk like this reaps no reward bewilders
No one – no one’s legs rest on my shoulders.
I sit by the window in the dark.
Like an express, the waves behind the wavelike curtain crash.

A loyal subject of these second – rate years.
I proudly admit that my finest ideas are second – rate,
And may the future take them
As trophies of my struggle against suffocation.
I sit in the dark. And it would be hard to figure out.
Which is worse; the dark inside,
Or the darkness out.

I JUST WANT TO MAKE SURE

Listen, it’s not that I don’t want to hold on to you; I just want to make sure that once I do, you will never brush me off or let me go. It’s not that I don’t want to embrace you, I just want to make sure that when I do, you will never push me away like the others normally do. I will never run from you, if you don’t want me to. But in case you’re wondering why I’m getting a bit distant at times, know that I’m just taking my time to figure out whether or not you feel the same way I do.

HUMILITY

Humility makes a person knowledgeable but arrogance makes a person ignorant. The knowledgeable person has more options to consider and would most likely make better decisions. The arrogant covers the insecurity with rudeness and limits opportunities for growth. The best solution here is to always consider others better than yourself and to be a perpetual student. Needs a lot of humility to do this.

HOW TO MANAGE WORK RELATED PAIN

Does your work require you to sit on your desk and work on your computer daily? If it does, chances are, you may be experiencing symptoms like joint stiffness and swelling. Making some adjustments in the way you work, however, can help you deal with the pain and prevent it from getting worse. Here are some things you can do at work:

1.Be very mindful of your posture. Sit straight, relax, but do not slouch your back. Make sure your head and neck are directly above your shoulders and do not lean forward. This position will ease the pain you feel on your mid and lower back. Your computer monitor should be about an arm’s length away from your body, and should be two to three inches above eye level. This is done to prevent eye and neck strain. Where you place your mouse is important too! Place it near your keyboard so you will not over extend your shoulder and arms when you click. Make sure your feet are flat on the floor and shoulder-width apart. This will release the tension on your ankles and knees. It also keeps the spine straight. Avoid crossing your legs too. Sitting with your legs crossed makes it difficult for you to keep your spine and shoulders straight. You also have a risk of overstretching the muscles around the pelvis.
2.Move around. Doing simple exercises on your desk can reduce stress and pain. Try doing shoulder rolls, arm stretches, finger extension exercise and leg hug of bend to help reduce the pressure on your spine, arms, and hips. You can also try getting up to stretch your arms and legs. Do so by going on a bathroom break or getting a glass of water. Moving around will promote circulation and alertness. Breathing exercises also helps raise vital energy and engages your core that supports the upper body.
3.Be smart about your movements. Yes, moving around is important for the joints but making a wrong move could increase your chances of having arthritis pain. Lifting heavy objects are sometimes unavoidable at work so research on how to carry objects properly. Organize your work desk as well so you wouldn’t have to reach your most-used things really far.

Having the proper posture, doing simple exercises in intervals, and not stressing your joints too much can greatly help you manage work-related pain and even prevent you from experiencing arthritis pain. But if these still don’t work, consult a doctor and do whatever you need and more without the pain.

HOME

When people ask where home is, we reply with the town but lately I’ve been starting to realize home isn’t anything other than someone giving you a reason to stay.

Home is a place you feel safe and not because it might be a small town with a low crime rate. Home is that person that makes you feel secure. That person who simplistically eases every worry because they’re standing next to you. The person that reminds you, whatever it is you are going through, you aren’t going through it alone. That person that gives you something to want to come back to.

Home is simply where you’re wanted and loved and appreciated. The place where you’re good enough even with every flaw. But more than that, I think home is a person.

The person that makes you happier than anyone in the world. Home is wherever they are.

And I hope you find that. I hope you find someone who never leaves, even when you have to. I hope you find someone who is still waiting for you when you come back.

Ayiiehh..
Hahahaa..
