What is Love?
-Love is not limited for the family.
-Love is not a sentimental pressure.
-Love is not a romantic fantasy.
-Love is not a blind acceptance.
-Love is not permissive.
-Love is not just sympathy.
“Love is patient, love is kind. It
does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others,
it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects,
always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”
1 Corinthians 13:4-7
Who must be the object of our love?
-We must love God (Matthew 22:37-38)
-We must love our neighbors (Matthew
22:39; James 2:8; Mark 12:31)
-We must love our family (1 John
3:16-18; Colossians 3:20)
-We must love our enemies (Matthews
5:44; Luke 6:27)
-We must love our country and our
countrymen.
-We must love the whole world and its
people.
“Love never fails..” (1 Corinthians
13:8)
“Let us live a life of love and be a
blessing!”
