WE HONOR THE SPIRIT WHEN WE SHARE THE GOOD NEWS OF SALVATION WITH OTHERS

If you found an awesome new website, discovered a cool store at the mall or rented a hilarious movie, you’d recommend it to your friends. That’s all God asks of you. Recommend him to your friends.

Stick to the truth, stay on track, keep it simple and avoid arguments. You don’t have to know everything. If someone asks you something you don’t know,  look it up, then get back to the person!

You job is to share the message, God’s job is to work in the heart of your friend. Stick to doing your job and let God do his.

When you share the good news with others, not only will you have beautiful feet, the rest of you will smell pretty nice as well!

It has been said, “God doesn’t call you to be successful, just faithful.”

When you share the Gospel with someone, remember to clearly explain that:

1.       God loves you and wants a relationship with you.
(John 3:16)
2.       Your personal sin has harmed your intimacy with God. Sin results in physical death and spiritual separation from God.
(Romans 6:23)
3.       Jesus Christ lived a perfect life to fulfill God’s requirements and he died to make us right with God. He is the only solution for our sin problem.
(1 John 2:2)
4.       When we trust Jesus as our Savior from sin, we receive God’s forgiveness and become members of his family.
(1 John 1:8-9)
5.       Heaven is God’s gift to us. We can never be good enough to earn it, only receive it by faith.
(Ephesians 2:8-9)
6.       If we reject God’s offer of salvation, we will be punished forever.
(Matthew 25:46)

God, sometimes I’m scared of what other people think. I’m scared of what might happen if I start telling them about you. But you are the only hope for a dying world! Help me to put into practice the truths that I know and reach out to others to rescue them. I want to live like Jesus. I want to smell like you. Amen.
