#SALT&LIGHT
We believers of Christ are
salty. Meaning, we are influential, we bring thirst, and we enhance any
situation.
But salt is useless if it
does not come in contact with food.
Just the same, if you just
stay in your Christian family, church and small group, then you would not make
an impact to those who really need Jesus. Useless. Sayang.
Kung matagal ka ng
Born-Again Christian at diyan ka lang lagi sa comfort zone mo with your family
and small group and never going out to reach and talk to people who are yet to
know Jesus, then you are useless.
Sayang ang pagiging
Born-Again mo kung puro ka pasikat sa Church mo, at attend lang ng attend ng
mga services. Everyone is a light and already shiny in Church. Hindi ka na
liliwanag doon. Doon ka kung saan madilim, dark at doon ka magliliwanag.
If you’re reading this and
you’ve been a Christian for a long time, for years and you have yet to disciple
other people and still residing in the comforts of your small group and Church,
I urge you, step out. Be the SALT and the LIGHT in this dark decaying world.
There are no excuses. Busy ka man sa pag-aalaga ng anak mo ngayon, sa business,
sa work, etc.. still – NO EXCUSES. If you indeed want to honor God, then, you
will do it without any excuses.
Contact those you have yet
to know Jesus and create impact in their lives. Talk to them, share Christ’s
light and love.
Nothing is more worthless
than a Christian who refuses to share Jesus and disciple other people and keep
their saltiness and light to themselves.
